This petty knife is a compact, home-use utility knife designed for fine and detailed preparation work. Its small size makes it easy to handle for close-range tasks, and it is a highly practical tool that enhances versatility in everyday cooking when kept in the kitchen.

Crafted from Ginsan (Silver No. 3) stainless steel, it combines excellent sharpness with strong resistance to rust, ensuring easy maintenance and long-lasting performance.

Each knife is individually hand-forged by skilled artisans, with every step—from forging to final polishing—completed in-house.

The handle is made from natural wood and shaped into an octagonal form, providing a comfortable grip that fits naturally in the hand and allows for extended use with minimal fatigue.

■The surface patterns carry traditional Japanese symbolic meanings:

Sakura pattern: A representative Japanese flower symbolizing new beginnings and the arrival of spring.
Chrysanthemum (Kiku) pattern: A highly regarded flower in Japan, symbolizing nobility, dignity, and prosperity.
Kenma-mon pattern: A traditional auspicious motif from Buddhist and classical culture, symbolizing prosperity, happiness, and eternity; also known as a "Kisshō-mon'yō" (auspicious pattern).
Kazahana pattern: Depicts snow dancing in the wind on a clear day, evoking a beautiful winter scene.
